The trip was exotic, humorous, sobering, wild, breathtaking, and visually spectacular. To say this is one of the greatest things I've done on a motorcycle is a major understatement. It's hard to describe the region's beauty but there's many areas in Australia just as beautiful. I found the culture and the way of life of the Romanian people the special part of the trip.

The tour of Transylvania was most interesting and informative. A great deal of country was covered in a relatively short time, and a very good cross-section of the landscape, mountains, forests, rivers, etc., as well as architecture, lifestyles and culture, of Transylvania, Maramuresh and Moldavia was seen and appreciated, and here again, Alin was an ongoing fount of information. As regards the accomodation the quality of the board and lodging was very good, and the Ileas' Country Inn at Ieud was very much an At Home atmosphere.
